You need a good chair

If you, like me, have to spend hours in the sitting position every day, a good chair is not a luxury. It is an important investment in the long-term well-being of your back. And your back is something you want to take good care of. If you are an employee, don’t put up with a chair that is uncomfortable or leaves you with backache. You will have to live with the consequences of compromised posture for the rest of your life.

Of course there are many options available, but I have yet to find one to beat the Herman Miller Aeron. It is not the cheapest option by a long shot, but it is a quality product that will give you excellent comfort and promote a good posture for many years. And - no - I don’t have shares in the company. I wish I did.

It has been around for fourteen years, and has a place in the permanent collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art.
